A great effort by Kyle Wilson carried the Edinburg Roadrunners (4-8) to a 6-1 win over the Fort Worth Cats (8-4) on Tuesday at Edinburg Stadium.

Wilson looked sharp on the mound. Wilson gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out seven during his nine innings of work.

Fernando De los Santos got a hit in each of his four at bats. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the second, fourth, and seventh innings.

Eric Sheridan (2-1) took the loss for the Fort Worth Cats. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked one and struck out two.
