The Raton Osos (13-54) beat the Taos Blizzard (24-42) 8-5 but needed 10 innings to do so on Sunday at Taos Tundra.
With the score tied at five, Matt McCuel came to the plate and singled, scoring Drew Evans.
Ryan Barban was hot from the plate for the Raton Osos. Barban went 3-5, drove in one and scored three runs. He singled in the fifth and seventh innings.
Evans looked sharp on the mound. The Taos Blizzard managed just two hits off of the the Raton Osos' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out five during his five innings of work.
Mike Perrone did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Taos Blizzard, reaching base three times. He singled in the fifth and seventh innings.
Phil Richmond recorded the win for the Raton Osos. He allowed three runs over two innings. Richmond struck out one, walked three and gave up four hits.
