Matt Hunt collected four hits, helping the Trinidad Triggers (22-14) to a 5-4 victory over the Las Vegas Train Robbers (22-16) on Thursday at Rodriguez Park.
He singled in the first, second, and fourth innings and doubled in the seventh inning.The Las Vegas Train Robbers couldn't get anything going as long as Scott Elitzky was pitching. Elitzky held the Las Vegas Train Robbers hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four.
Nick Mutz got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He allowed four runs over 6 2/3 innings. Mutz struck out two, walked four and gave up six hits.
