Tuesday was a great day for Jon Sintes, as Sintes struck out seven batters to carry the Santa Fe Fuego (13-19) to a 7-2 victory over the Alpine Cowboys (18-16) at Fort Marcy Park.

Josh Barnett racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Santa Fe Fuego. He homered in the second inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Despite the loss, the Alpine Cowboys' Jeremy Burright dominated the Santa Fe Fuego's batters, giving up zero runs and striking out five.

Josh Cruse ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked one and struck out five.
