The Las Vegas Train Robbers (34-24) and the White Sands Pupfish (25-33) each put runners in scoring position on Tuesday, but the Las Vegas Train Robbers capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 9-7 win at Rodriguez Park.
Adam Kam racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Las Vegas Train Robbers. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the fifth inning.
Cody Collins racked up three RBIs on three hits for the White Sands Pupfish. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the first and fifth innings.
Even though Edison Alvarez allowed six runs over seven innings he still recorded the victory, his seventh of the season. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered 12 hits.
Matt Gibbs (2-5) took the loss for the White Sands Pupfish. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked three and struck out four.
