An awesome effort by Larry Rodriguez lifted the Santa Fe Fuego (18-21) to a 15-14 win over the Las Vegas Train Robbers (23-17) on Saturday at Fort Marcy Park.

Rodriguez hit two home runs for the Santa Fe Fuego. Rodriguez went 3-5 in the game with five RBIs and three runs scored. Rodriguez homered in the innings.

Randy Wells rocked the Santa Fe Fuego with two home runs. Wells went 3-5 in the game with five RBIs and two runs scored. Wells homered in the second and fourth innings.

The two teams combined for 29 runs and 35 hits, including zero extra base hits. Managers of the two teams seemingly emptied their bullpens in search of the win, as there were 13 pitchers used in the game.

Nick Huff recorded his first win of the year for the Santa Fe Fuego. Huff struck out none, walked one and gave up one hit.

Ben Runyon couldn't get it done on the bump for the Las Vegas Train Robbers, taking a loss. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed no runs.

The Santa Fe Fuego easily handled the Las Vegas Train Robbers pitching as six hitters combined for 14 hits, 13 RBIs and 13 runs scored.
