Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Sunday as the Trinidad Triggers (37-31) outscored the White Sands Pupfish (26-41) 11-10.
The two teams combined for 32 hits in the game.
It was a good day at the plate for the Trinidad Triggers' Jacob Fabry. Fabry went 4-5, drove in one and scored four runs. He singled in the fifth, seventh, and eighth innings and homered in the ninth inning.
Ernie Munoz got a hit in each of his two at bats. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the third innings.
Benji Waite improved to 6-4 on the year by picking up the win for the Trinidad Triggers. He allowed one run over 2 2/3 innings. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered three hits.
Nick Alexander (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
