The Body Shot offense too much for the Rack and Sacks in 18-7 rout

The Body Shot (1-2) jumped out to an early lead on the Rack and Sacks (0-3) and captured an 18-7 victory on Sunday at Raynor Park two.

Fifteen runs in the first three innings allowed the Body Shot to put the game away early.

A groundout by Leo, , , an RBI single by Lindsay, an RBI single by Howie, and a groundout by Auto Out during the first inning and and a two-run single by Brian in the second inning helped the Body Shot put some runs on the board early.

The game was back-and-forth heading into the second, with five lead changes.

Dave got on base four times in the game for the Body Shot. He scored three runs and had four RBIs.

Greg Lehecka racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Rack and Sacks. He tripled in the second inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Howie recorded his first win for the Body Shot even though he allowed seven runs over five innings. He struck out four, walked five and surrendered nine hits.

Kristen Canillas (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed 18 runs in four innings, walked 18 and struck out none.

The Body Shot pounded the Rack and Sacks pitching, as six hitters combined for six hits, 13 RBIs and 15 runs scored.
