Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Sunday as the The Misfits (2-0) outscored the Hammerhedz (0-2) 21-11 in six innings.

Nick Costagliola racked up seven RBIs on four hits for the The Misfits. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the first, fourth, and sixth innings.
Jason Epstein recorded his second win for the The Misfits even though he allowed 11 runs over six innings. Epstein struck out none, walked six and gave up 16 hits.
Tom couldn't get it done on the bump for the Hammerhedz, taking a loss. He allowed 21 runs in five innings, walked 10 and struck out none.
The The Misfits easily handled the Hammerhedz pitching as seven hitters combined for 18 hits, 19 RBIs and 15 runs scored.
