The Brazos Valley Bombers survive the Texas Marshals rally, escape with 4-2 victory

The Texas Marshals (2-2) weren't able to overcome the big hole they dug themselves into against the Brazos Valley Bombers (4-0), and the Texas Marshals lost 4-2 to the Brazos Valley Bombers after falling behind by three runs in the second inning.

The Texas Marshals scored two runs in the fourth on two errors and an RBI single by Morris Valenzuela. Despite their efforts, the Texas Marshals couldn't get over the hump.

Herb Romero got on base four times in the game for the Brazos Valley Bombers. He scored one run and had one RBI. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Rex Hill brought the heat against the Texas Marshals during his outing. The Texas Marshals managed just one hit off of the the Brazos Valley Bombers' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out five during his three innings of work.

Mason Justice got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed two runs over four innings. Justice struck out three, walked four and gave up three hits.

Jacob Dittman was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out six, and allowed four runs.
