The Lima Locos (4-4) and the So. Ohio Copperheads (8-1) both had scoring chances on Saturday, but it was the Lima Locos that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 5-2 win at Bob Wren Stadium.

Shawn Sanders racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Lima Locos. He singled in the second inning and tripled in the sixth inning.

Joe Sturino had a hot bat for the So. Ohio Copperheads. Sturino went 3-5 and drove in one. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the first and seventh innings.

Tyler Miller recorded his first win of the year for the Lima Locos. Miller struck out one, walked one and gave up three hits.

Tom Durkin couldn't get it done on the mound for the So. Ohio Copperheads, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
