He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings.Charlie Dant's six strikeouts were enough to push the Dayton Docs past the Lake Erie Monarchs. Dant allowed one earned run, four hits and three walks over 5 2/3 innings.
Heath Slatton (1-4) took the loss for the Lake Erie Monarchs. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed one run.
