Deion Tansel went 2-4, helping the Dayton Docs (18-18) to a 4-3 victory over the So. Ohio Copperheads (23-13) on Wednesday at Bob Wren Stadium.

The So. Ohio Copperheads couldn't get anything going as long as Ryan Koopman was on the mound. Koopman held the So. Ohio Copperheads hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Eddie Sutton paced the So. Ohio Copperheads at the plate. Sutton went 2-3 and scored two runs. He singled in the third and seventh innings.

Zakary Esposito ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed one run.
