Jared Kujawa had two extra base hits, sparking the Lake Erie Monarchs (9-17) to a 4-3 victory in eight innings over the Licking County Settlers (18-12) on Wednesday at Ned Skeldon Stadium.

Ashton Perritt racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Licking County Settlers. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the seventh inning.

Aaron Tadian recorded his first win of the year for the Lake Erie Monarchs. He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered six hits.

Jacob Perschke ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
