David Simmons went a perfect 3-3 at the dish for the Lexington Hustlers. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the first and eighth innings.
The Lake Erie Monarchs couldn't get anything going as long as Austin Clay was on the mound. Clay gave up just three hits, allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out four during his five innings of work.
Jonathan Pusateri improved to 1-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Lake Erie Monarchs. He allowed one run over four innings. Pusateri struck out two, walked one and gave up five hits.
