The bats were busy at Montgomery Field on Saturday, and when the dust cleared the Grand Lake Mariners (14-13) had a 9-8 win over the Licking County Settlers (15-11).

The two teams combined for 29 hits in the game.

Peter Cuomo racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Grand Lake Mariners. He tripled in the second inning.

Ashton Perritt got on base four times in the game for the Licking County Settlers. He singled in the first, fifth, and ninth innings.

Luke Mamer improved to 4-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Grand Lake Mariners. Mamer struck out none, walked none and gave up two hits.

Jacob Perschke (0-2) took the loss for the Licking County Settlers. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
