It took 15 innings, but the Dayton Docs (13-13) managed to put away the Licking County Settlers (15-10) 5-3 on Friday at Denison University.

With the score tied at one in the fifteenth inning, Grant Yoder came to the plate and singled, plating Deion Tansel.

The Licking County Settlers couldn't get anything going so long as Logan Sendelbach was on the hill. The Licking County Settlers managed just two hits off of the the Dayton Docs' pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out five during his six innings of work.

Ryan Wells got it done on the rubber on the way to a win. He pitched three shutout innings. Wells struck out five, walked one and gave up two hits.

Nick Land (1-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
