Robby Sunderman collected three hits as the Cincinnati Steam (12-10) took home a 4-2 victory over the Lima Locos (11-7) at Western Hills HS on Wednesday.

Matt Jefferson kept contact to a minimum, striking out seven the Lima Locos batters. Jefferson allowed one earned run on seven hits and no walks over seven innings.

A bright spot for the Lima Locos in the defeat was Ethan McKenney, who allowed only one run while striking out five.

Art Warren ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
