The Xenia Scouts (8-12) beat the Hamilton Joes (9-11) 6-3 on Saturday at Foundation Field behind Lucas Salerno, who went 2-3.

Doug Teegarden did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Hamilton Joes, reaching base three times. He tripled in the first inning.

The Xenia Scouts' lineup had no answer for Michael Roberts. The Xenia Scouts managed just one hit off of the the Hamilton Joes' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his 1 2/3 innings of work.

Shane Armstrong recorded his second win of the year for the Xenia Scouts. He allowed three runs over five innings. Armstrong struck out six, walked three and gave up five hits.

Patrick McGuff (0-1) took the loss for the Hamilton Joes. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
