Logan Sendelbach hopes every outing could go as well as Thursday, as Sendelbach tossed a shutout to carry the Dayton Docs (9-8) to a 1-0 victory over the Lake Erie Monarchs at Wright State University.
The Dayton Docs' Sendelbach kept the Lake Erie Monarchs (5-12) off the scoreboard for all nine innings he was on the hill. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on three hits while ringing up six.
Daulton Mosbarger paced the Dayton Docs at the plate. Mosbarger went 3-4 and drove in one. He singled in the second, fourth, and sixth innings.
Heath Slatton (1-3) took the loss for the Lake Erie Monarchs. He lasted just three innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed one run.
