The Xenia Scouts (6-10) and the Grand Lake Mariners (4-11) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Xenia Scouts that eventually took advantage of them in a 10-7 win at Montgomery Field.

Lucas Salerno racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Xenia Scouts. He singled in the second, seventh, and ninth innings.

Brant Masters got the win, running his season record to 1-1. Masters struck out none, walked one and gave up one hit.

Gerardo Dudamel couldn't get it done on the hill for the Grand Lake Mariners, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked three, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
