An exceptional effort by Michael Danielak carried the Licking County Settlers (5-3) to a 2-0 win over the Grand Lake Mariners (3-5) on Saturday at Denison University.

Danielak kept the Grand Lake Mariners off the board during his eight innings of work. Danielak struck out seven and allowed one walk and two hits.

Devin Daugherty couldn't get it done on the bump for the Grand Lake Mariners, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
