A walk-off single from Michael Gastrich brought home the winning run for the Hamilton Joes (5-3) in a 7-6 victory over the Lake Erie Monarchs (3-5) in 12 innings at Foundation Field on Friday.

Gastrich racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Hamilton Joes. He singled in the first, eleventh, and twelfth innings.

Adam Collins racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Hamilton Joes. He singled in the second inning.

Jason Link improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Hamilton Joes. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Jay Perry was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed one run.
