Jonathan Pusateri kept the Grand Lake Mariners (1-4) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Lake Erie Monarchs (2-4) beat the Grand Lake Mariners, 1-0.

Pusateri struck out six and allowed six walks and two hits.

Ryan Callahan helped the Lake Erie Monarchs pull ahead for the duration in the eleventh inning. After Heath Slatton hit into a fielder's choice, Callahan came to the plate with two outs in the eleventh and hit a sacrifice fly, bringing home Slatton.

Jack Anderson recorded his first win of the year for the Lake Erie Monarchs. Anderson struck out four, walked two and gave up no hits.

Tyler Jordan couldn't get it done on the mound for the Grand Lake Mariners, taking a loss. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed one run.
