Clint Beland kept the Dayton Docs (8-8) off the board during his five innings of work and the Grand Lake Mariners (5-11) beat the Dayton Docs, 4-2.

Beland allowed no hits, three walks and struck out one.

J.J. Buckey delivered a big hit off the bench in the seven.. His pinch-hit single was the key moment in the Grand Lake Mariners' two-run win.

With the score tied at two in the seventh inning, Buckey came to the plate and singled.

Daniel Seeba led the Grand Lake Mariners' offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He singled in the first and third innings.
