The Lake Norman Copperheads blew out the Pineville Pioneers thanks to 17 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Lake Norman Copperheads scored five runs in the third on an RBI single by Mikal Hill, a hit by pitch, an RBI single by Brett Huffman, a single by Forrest Brandt, , and a groundout by Joe Bertone.

It was a good day at the plate for the Lake Norman Copperheads' Hill. Hill went 4-5 and scored three runs.

Spencer Greer couldn't get it done on the bump for the Pineville Pioneers, taking a loss. He lasted just three innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
