Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Saturday as the Carolina Vipers (9-13) outscored the Morganton Aggies (9-7) 14-11 in seven innings.

The teams totaled 26 hits in the game.

Joe Henderson racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Carolina Vipers. He homered in the first inning and singled in the third inning.

Nate Traugh brought the heat against the Morganton Aggies during his outing. Traugh held the Morganton Aggies hitless over 2 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Aaron Wright racked up four RBIs on one hit for the Morganton Aggies. He homered in the sixth inning.

Todd Flemming ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
