Luke Gibbs was cold coming off the bench, but Gibbs warmed up quickly as Gibbs stroked a key pinch-hit double in the six to lead the Ballantyne Smokies (10-6) to a 4-3 win over the Pineville Pioneers (7-9) on Thursday at Ardrey Kell HS.
