Jared Miller kept the Cotuit Kettleers (20-15) off the board during his six innings of work and the Orleans Firebirds (18-18) beat the Cotuit Kettleers, 7-3.

Miller allowed two hits, three walks and struck out 10.

Chris Marconcini was hot from the plate for the Orleans Firebirds. Marconcini went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the seventh inning and doubled in the eighth inning.

Nolan Clark boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 2-2 day at the plate to pace the Cotuit Kettleers. He singled in the third and eighth innings.

Christian Cecilio (3-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed one run.
