Troy Stein knocked in three runs, helping the Falmouth Commodores (16-12) to a 5-1 victory over the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox (13-15) on Tuesday at Arnie Allen Diamond.

John Means allowed one earned run, four hits and three walks while striking out three over six innings of work.

Sam Lindquist put together a nice outing. The Falmouth Commodores managed just three hits off of the the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox's pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out four during his four innings of work.

Donny Murray improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Falmouth Commodores. Murray struck out one, walked none and gave up no hits.

Samuel Coonrod ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
