Mike Ford went 2-3, helping the Cotuit Kettleers (14-10) to a 2-1 victory over the Hyannis Harbor Hawks (14-7) on Saturday at McKeon Park.

Evan Beal handled the Hyannis Harbor Hawks' lineup with ease, racking up six strikeouts. The Cotuit Kettleers' pitcher gave up just three hits over five shutout innings.

Andrew Thome was effective even in defeat, mowing down six the Cotuit Kettleers batters and allowing one run.

Brian Miller recorded his first win of the year for the Cotuit Kettleers. Miller struck out three, walked none and gave up one hit.

Mike Gunn couldn't get it done on the hill for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out two, and allowed one run.
