Austin Pettibone held the Harwich Mariners (9-7) scoreless for six innings to boost the Hyannis Harbor Hawks (10-4) to a 4-2 victory.

Pettibone allowed six hits, one walk and struck out four.

It was a good day at the plate for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks' Steve Wilkerson. Wilkerson went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the third inning.

Chandler Shepherd was effective even in defeat, mowing down nine the Hyannis Harbor Hawks batters and allowing three runs.

Shepherd (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher.
