The Falmouth Commodores (9-5) blew out the Wareham Gatemen 9-1 on Saturday at Spillane Field after pouring on five runs in the fifth inning.

Joseph Maggi boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace the Falmouth Commodores. He singled in the first, fifth, and sixth innings.

Craig Schlitter picked up the win for the Falmouth Commodores. Schlitter pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, three hits and no walks while striking out three.

Andro Cutura ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
