Trey Teakell kept the Orleans Firebirds (6-5) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Falmouth Commodores (7-5) beat the Orleans Firebirds, 4-0.

Teakell allowed six hits, one walk and struck out four.

Kevin Cron racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Falmouth Commodores. He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Trent Szkutnik ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
