Chandler Shepherd held the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox (3-7) scoreless for six innings to boost the Harwich Mariners (6-3) to a 9-0 victory.

Shepherd allowed three hits, one walk and struck out one.

An RBI double by Mark Zagunis during the first inning and an RBI single by Gunnar Heidt, a fielder's choice, and an RBI double by Derek Fisher in the second inning helped the Harwich Mariners put some runs on the board early.

Heidt racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Harwich Mariners.

Jordan Minch was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in five innings, walked two and struck out four.
