Justin Kamplain held the Hyannis Harbor Hawks (3-2) scoreless for six innings to boost the Brewster Whitecaps (1-5) to a 7-0 victory.

Kamplain allowed two hits, one walk and struck out eight.

Six runs in the first three innings helped the Brewster Whitecaps blow out the Hyannis Harbor Hawks. An RBI single by Trevor Mitsui, a wild pitch, and a steal of home by Jose Brizuela during the first inning helped the Brewster Whitecaps put some runs on the board early.

Kyle Freeland (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked three and struck out four.
