The Brewster Whitecaps (14-26) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 4-3 to the Orleans Firebirds (21-19) on Sunday.

Brad Schreiber was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed one run.
