Andy Clark kept the Washington Wild Things (36-44) off the board during his 5 2/3 innings of work and the Florence Freedom (44-36) beat the Washington Wild Things, 4-0.

Clark allowed six hits, three walks and struck out four.

Daniel DeSimone delivered a big hit off the bench in the six.. His pinch-hit single was the key moment in the Florence Freedom's four-run win.

With the Florence Freedom leading by one, DeSimone came to the plate and singled.

Nick Stein racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Florence Freedom. He homered in the seventh inning and doubled in the ninth inning.

Shawn Sanford (8-5) took the loss for the Washington Wild Things. He lasted just seven innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
