Alex Kaminsky held the Washington Wild Things (22-25) scoreless for six innings to boost the Lake Erie Crushers (23-23) to a 6-4 victory.

Kaminsky allowed four hits, one walk and struck out five.

Daniel Bowman blasted two home runs for the Lake Erie Crushers. Bowman went 3-4 in the game with three RBIs and two runs scored. Bowman homered in the fifth and seventh innings.

Jim Vahalik put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Washington Wild Things. He doubled in the seventh and ninth innings.

Shawn Blackwell (3-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out six, and allowed four runs.
