The Schaumburg Boomers (21-15) pounded the Traverse City Beach Bums (22-13) on Wednesday 10-4 at Wuerfel Park.

The Schaumburg Boomers scored four runs in the sixth on an error, an RBI single by Alexi Colon, a sacrifice fly by Craig Hertler, an RBI single by Gerard Hall, and a single by Frank Pfister.

Colon racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Schaumburg Boomers.

Matt Kuna struck out six, paving the way for a the Schaumburg Boomers win. Kuna allowed one earned run on five hits and one walk over five innings.

Carlo Testa racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Traverse City Beach Bums. He homered in the eighth inning.

Jake Sabol (5-3) took the loss for the Traverse City Beach Bums. He allowed seven runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out three.
