He singled in the first and second innings and doubled in the ninth inning.J.T. MIller struck out six, paving the way for a the Waterloo Bucks win. MIller allowed one earned run, seven hits and one walk over seven innings.
Tyler Duplantis went a perfect 2-2 at the plate for the Thunder Bay Border Cats. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth inning.
Ryan Atwood (0-1) took the loss for the Thunder Bay Border Cats. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
