The Waterloo Bucks take out the Thunder Bay Border Cats with help from Calderon, 5-2

Marcos Calderon collected three hits as the Waterloo Bucks (8-4) took home a 5-2 victory over the Thunder Bay Border Cats (6-7) at Subway Field on Monday.

He singled in the first and second innings and doubled in the ninth inning.

J.T. MIller struck out six, paving the way for a the Waterloo Bucks win. MIller allowed one earned run, seven hits and one walk over seven innings.

Tyler Duplantis went a perfect 2-2 at the plate for the Thunder Bay Border Cats. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Ryan Atwood (0-1) took the loss for the Thunder Bay Border Cats. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
