The Madison Mallards (7-5) outlasted the Lakeshore Chinooks (7-6) at Kapco Park 5-4 on Monday after 11 innings.

With the score tied at four, Mike Reuvekamp came to the plate and singled, plating Mitch Elliot.

The game was back-and-forth heading into the eleventh, with seven lead changes.

Anthony Cheky had two extra-base hits for the Madison Mallards. He tripled in the third inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Cam Verbeke brought the heat against the Lakeshore Chinooks during his outing. Verbeke held the Lakeshore Chinooks hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Kristian Calibuso got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed one run over one inning. Calibuso struck out none, walked one and gave up one hit.

Karch Kowalczyk couldn't get it done on the bump for the Lakeshore Chinooks, taking a loss. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
