The Green Bay Bullfrogs (6-8) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 3-2 to the La Crosse Loggers (9-5) on Sunday.

While the Green Bay Bullfrogs led until the ninth inning, the La Crosse Loggers worked their way back and took the lead on an RBI single by Matt Risdon.

Derek Gordon pitched lights out for the La Crosse Loggers. The Green Bay Bullfrogs managed just one hit off of Gordon, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his three innings of work.

Robert Youngdahl did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Green Bay Bullfrogs, reaching base four times. He singled in the ninth inning.

James Guillen improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the La Crosse Loggers. Guillen struck out one, walked one and gave up one hit.

Michael Fain ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
