The Battle Creek Bombers (7-3) and the Wisconsin Woodchucks (6-3) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Battle Creek Bombers that eventually took advantage of them in an 8-4 win at C.O. Brown Stadium.

Matt Fears racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Battle Creek Bombers. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Gabe Berman put together a nice outing. Berman held the Wisconsin Woodchucks hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four.

Despite the loss, the Wisconsin Woodchucks' Zach Rengel dominated the Battle Creek Bombers' batters, giving up one run and striking out five.

Caleb Vincent recorded his first win of the year for the Battle Creek Bombers. He allowed two runs over three innings. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered seven hits.

Anthony Dixon couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Wisconsin Woodchucks, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked three and struck out three.
