The Willmar Stingers come from behind to beat the Duluth Huskies, 9-6

The Willmar Stingers (6-4) trailed by six in the sixth, but the Willmar Stingers recovered thanks to a key three-run home run in the ninth inning from Max Kuhn to pull out a 9-6 win over the Duluth Huskies (7-3) at Bill Taunton Stadium on Friday.

With the score tied at six in the ninth inning, Kuhn came to the plate and homered, bringing home Marc Flores and Michael Suchy.

Kuhn racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Willmar Stingers. He homered in the ninth inning.

Josh Matheson improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Willmar Stingers. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered three hits.

Nate Carter (2-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
