Dustin Breshears collected three hits as the St. Cloud Rox (5-4) took home a 6-1 victory over the Alexandria Blue Anchors (1-7) at Knute Nelson Memorial Park on Thursday.
He singled in the third and fifth innings and doubled in the sixth inning.Kyle Fischer racked up five strikeouts in the the St. Cloud Rox win. Fischer allowed one earned run on four hits and four walks over six innings.
The St. Cloud Rox had no answer for Tyler Beck, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The St. Cloud Rox managed just three hits off of Beck, who allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out three during his five innings of work.
Beck ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year.
