Tellor stars as the Wisconsin Woodchucks defeat the Madison Mallards, 6-5

Matt Tellor clubbed two home runs to carry the Wisconsin Woodchucks (5-2) to a 6-5 win over the Madison Mallards (4-4) at Athletic Park.

The teams traded runs for most of the contest, leading to seven lead changes in the game.

Henry Weiler improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Wisconsin Woodchucks. He allowed one run over two innings. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Jordan Mills couldn't get it done on the mound for the Madison Mallards, taking a loss. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out five, and allowed two runs.

The Wisconsin Woodchucks were sparked by Tellor and Tyler Steib, who teamed up for four hits and five RBIs.
