The St. Cloud Rox (4-4) and the Alexandria Blue Anchors (1-6) each put runners in scoring position on Wednesday, but the St. Cloud Rox capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 7-5 win at St. Cloud, Minn - Faber Field.

The St. Cloud Rox would not relinquish the lead as the Alexandria Blue Anchors were unable to weather a three-run third inning deficit.

The Alexandria Blue Anchors scored on an RBI single by Andrew Mulato, an RBI single by Mulato, and an RBI single by Mulato in the sixth inning, a groundout by Jamie Ritchie in the eighth inning, and a wild pitch and in the ninth inning. Unfortunately, the Alexandria Blue Anchors weren't able to take the lead back.

The St. Cloud Rox's Daniel Comstock was perfect at the dish, going 3-3. He singled in the third, sixth, and eighth innings.

Kyle Davis got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He allowed three runs over six innings. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered nine hits.

Cameron Mingo (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked one and struck out four.
