A walk-off single from Chris Manning brought home the winning run for the Lakeshore Chinooks (3-4) in a 1-0 victory over the Eau Claire Express (1-6) in 14 innings at Kapco Park on Wednesday.

The Eau Claire Express couldn't get anything going as long as Donnie Hissa was on the mound. Hissa held the Eau Claire Express hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four.

Tyler Sparger ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed one run.
