A walk-off from Ty Stetson brought home the winning run for the Thunder Bay Border Cats (4-4) in a 6-5 victory over the Mankato MoonDogs (3-5) in 10 innings at Subway Field on Tuesday.
Ryan Casillas racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Thunder Bay Border Cats. He singled in the second and seventh innings and doubled in the eighth and tenth innings.
Ryan Atwood looked sharp on the mound. Atwood gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out seven during his four innings of work.
Cameron Wood got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He allowed three runs over five innings. Wood struck out four, walked three and gave up four hits.
Mike Nowak was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
